Abstract

The CURB (Clean Up Rural Beaches) Plan report is a document outlining the remedial projects required to improve water quality in the Pefferlaw Brook drainage basin. Water pollution resulting from various agricultural related contaminants has lead to beach closures in recent years. This has resulted in the impairment of the recreational potential of beaches on Pefferlaw Brook and on Lake Simcoe within close proximity of the river outfall.
