Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of four chemical and control treatments in controlling Fusarium patch disease infecting a nine-year-old turf of creeping bentgrass in Southern Ontario. The treatments uses were both from the company of Syngenta. These treatments were Heritage 50 WG + Primo MAXX (6g/14 days + 8mL/28 days), and Heritage 50 WG (6 g/14 days). Both provided exceptional control 16 May and 23 May. The Standard treatment used in the experiment was Rovral Green 240 (375 mL/14 days). This treatment provided exceptional control 16 May but did not provide sufficient control 23 May. Over the course of the study, no phytotoxicity was detected.
