Abstract
The work in this thesis is presented in three parts: Part I concerns the absorption of streptomycin and oxytetracycline by the bovine uterus; Part II, the transfer of the antibiotics penicillin, streptomycin and oxytetracycline across the bovine placenta; and Part III, the levels of these three antibiotics in bull semen plasma following intramuscular injection.
