Abstract
This thesis describes the design and creation of an animal disease simulation toolkit, which allows veterinary epidemiologists to create and simulate any disease they can properly describe. It dynamically creates a user interface based on the disease description, requests all the necessary parameters, and then launches the simulation. In addition, the toolkit explores methods to help users choose meaningful values for their simulation parameters by analyzing previous simulations and encourages collaboration between teams working on similar problems. The toolkit is designed to be flexible, and can be easily applied to other types of simulations.
