Kathleen Shearer is the Executive Director of the Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR). This talk discusses Open Science including drivers of the open science trend, current policy context in Canada, and looks at Open Science from two focal areas: publications including gold and green open access; and data including open access repositories.
