Abstract

This study evaluates the performance of Milogranite and IBDU fertilizers in combination and alone when applied to creeping bentgrass on a putting green turf. Data was collected on turf quality, colour, uniformity, density, shoot growth, and resistance to disease/ drought stress. Small differences were seen between the treatments especially after the second treatment of fertilizers released nitrogen. Larger differences were seen between fertilized and unfertilized plots. All fertilized plots yielded a positive performance in turf quality, uniformity, and colour. Generally, the IBDU fertilizer treatment provided better results than the Milogrant fertilizer treatment.
