This report highlights the results of a pickling cucumber cultivar trial that was conducted in 1977 at 2 locations in Ontario: Simcoe and Harrow. Trials at both locations were on sandy loam soils and irrigation was available where required. Varieties were evaluated as to their suitability for multiple hand harvest and once-over mechanical harvesting.
