Abstract
Ten treatments were applied and observed to creeping bentgrass and Kentucky bluegrass. Treatment was applied to determine the general safety of a low toxicity hydraulic fluid in comparison to the typical fluids when spilled on Kentucky bluegrass and creeping bentgrass. No significant differences were observed in the acute toxicity after the application of the standard or low-toxicity products. All treatments killed leaf tissue, with only slight indications of differences at the end of the 2002 season.
