Abstract
Commercial chicken facilities release pollutants into the environment. These pollutants can be harmful to human health and the environment. The researchers determined the average emission rates of pollutants from the chicken houses. The emission rates were influenced by the chickens’ activity and the season. As the chickens grew, the pollutant emissions increased (except for ammonia).
